Random issues on forum (no Like/Quote/Reply/photos) - is it just me?

Admin

The files are simply loaded unlisted to Imgur using an API. Odd that you can do a post with an image, see it and yet it's not there.

Can you check in your media manager in the forum editor whether it's sitting in there with lots of other photos?

Also when you reply, drag and drop an image into your reply.

![](https://). just tried again this is the result. Nothing in my media setting.
Strange that it worked before when I posted showing coffee arrival. ?
When I add a photo it just comes up full screen on the computer, nothing else

Admin

Elcarajillo Are you running an adblocker, pop up blocker that can be turned off for the forum.

It's also very odd the photo comes up full screen in your computer…it's as if your web browser is set to display it and not communicating properly with the forum? Which actually tells your browser to send it to Imgur.

Elcarajillo

No adblock installed, I set up an E/m to test /try, image D/D from desktop to E/m no problem.
I give up, give me something mechanical. I tried to D&D to this post, ![](https://). All it does is bring this up.

Admin

Elcarajillo Do any of the image upload options work for you?

Also if you paste a direct link from an image hosting site what happens?

Admin

Elcarajillo Also with your specific error, watch this, because I can induce the error…may give you some clues. I've also just found (not in video), that if one post links to another post there might be issues sometimes.

My main feed “all discussions” page is looking very weird. I don’t know what’s going on and why I have that greyish rather than black.

All is good if I click on a topic.

Admin

It looks like you have night mode on, but possibly being overridden by local settings?

Mine, is almost all black….

Perhaps a setting in your profiles advanced settings here:

MediumRoastSteam

That setting is off.

Above is in night mode. In day mode, it looks even worse…

Admin

MediumRoastSteam Was this when I put in the new Oxo theme a few days ago?

MediumRoastSteam

Admin - it seem to have started today. I’m on iPad using Safari, mind.

Edit: checked on MacBook and iPhone, and it’s fine.

Must be an stylesheet compatibility issue with tablets or something.

Admin

close your browser, then restart, does the forum look ok now, I reverted back to the standard theme

MediumRoastSteam

Admin , please revert to the OXO theme. It might’ve been a cached asset. Please let me know when you do that.

Flat_Eric

Whatever you did has fixed the new posts not being highlighted on my front page Dave!

MediumRoastSteam

For all intents and purposes, it’s working fine now. But we need to prove the change of theme - and not resetting etc - is what fixed the issue. 👍

Admin

I'll change the theme back

Admin

Theme is back to Oxo (which I really like). Close browser restart and see how it is now

MediumRoastSteam

Admin - let me do the same again. One sec….

Flat_Eric

Ok, new posts no longer highlighted for me.

MediumRoastSteam

Admin - problem returned.

But I’m happy to live with it if this is a nicer theme and benefits everybody. It’s a very localised/specific issue for this device, so let’s not worry about it.
