Car names have been fraught with problems for many years. Hence the popularity of numbers accompanied by a single letter and the Japanese preference for very silly meaningless names. “Bongo Friendee” for example, or the Toppo BJ…
My time in Naples
It’s nice to see the amazing looking Ventus is still in the product line. No one ever seems to mention it on the forums that I patronise. Does it have “advanced” features to go with its unique appearance?
mathof2 No, it’s a basic dipper machine using a similar group to Londinium. It’s larger than it looks and direct plumb only.
Interesting to see your booth before and after. Its a lot of work, even just driving and setting up.

tompoland It was, left Naples about 1pm, Hotel at midnight to check in, away by 8pm to drive to Trieste and start setting up and unloading. The 2 ladies and the lad arrived by air at around 11am. It’s heavy work too. Most companies user contractors, but ACS are small and not rich, so we did it all ourselves. The days are long….what a holiday I choose!
JahLaza Sitting by a pool is not my idea of a perfect holiday…..I can sit around all day at home doing feck all, I have a PhD in doing feck all. So it’s nice to have a change for my holidays.

Driving was funny, on a journey out to a tech guy doing the mainboards…we saw this. The second photo, shows the car completely full. The guys speed was limited only by the power of the engine vs the drag! 🤣
Amberale polished SS front to take advantage of the “mirror” section and a bit of bling.
Yes, the black front loses the angled mirror section. I suggested Paolo fit one on, but he wasn’t keen. You could consider buying a separate mirror?

I like the black sides and back with the shiny front.
Is there anything planned for the big gap under the front of the drip tray section?
It almost looks like some sort of knock box drawer would work.
Also, I presume the tank needs to have water in it even if it is plumbed for the variable PI pressure.
I can’t quite work it out.
The data I received indicated that the tank is not necessary if the machine is plumbed.
It doesn’t matter, I’m just curious. (Some people even say strange)

- I wanted an LED light 😁but no nothing is planned, it’s just unused space. However they will be making the drip tray deeper…on the prototype 1 group it wasn’t really deep enough and were were constantly draining it into a bottle….via a tube.
- The tank does need to have water in it, otherwise variable PI won’t work. I’m well fairly certain the one group Vostok does not allows direct plumb, only indirect, in terms of plumbing in,refills fills the internal tank, as on the Vesuvius. The confusion may arise because the multi group Vostok’s don’t have a tank, but can pump from one using an external, commercial rotary pump.

Thank you Dave.
I now have the quotes for the Vostok and the EVO and just need to spend a day or so talking myself into the Vostok.
Amberale Not that you’d go wrong by picking the Evo…
