Honestly? Not sure.
The website, from memory, looks very different (and very glaring) but, it was several years back and could well have had a facelift.
The kind of services offered are very similar though. Prices similar, too.
I thought they were in Devon, but …. could be mis-remembering that. One thing they did offer, and I thought about but decided against, was a “colour match” service - they could customise your Chef to match your kitchen decor. I decided that was just a bit too kitch for me.
They do list the A701 (A) though, so either parts have become available again, or it’s a similar but different outfit.
Part of my decision, though, was that I needed a new bowl too. The original ceramic one got broken (dropped, and not by me 🙄 ) and the plastic replacement I had was rather worn. and pretty naff. By the time I added the cost of service to a new stainless steel bowl, and offset it against the cost of a new Chf itanium, inc bowl, it was a dubious bargain. Then, Kenwood offered a rebate scheme with a set of extra bits, including salad drier, a couple of bits of non-stick bakeware and other stuff, and it became a no-brainer.
I think I still have the old mincer attachment for the A701 somewhere, though …. but I’d have to check to be sure. Still need to get one for the new machine though. And a pasta roller. Yes, I’m too lazy to do it by hand. 😀
