Mea Culpa. 😬
I have been slack and haven’t removed the screen to clean for a few weeks.
I generally have my second coffee, turn off the machine, think “I’ll just let that cool down before I clean the screen” and promptly forget.
I don’t know why as the whole process takes about 3 minutes.
The top of the screen was filthy as was the lower 15mm or so of the bore.
This must be the travel limit of the lower piston seal.
I occasionally use top paper filters and do use the auto stop function.
It all came off in a moment with a wipe of a bit of sponge dipped in the Cafetto cleaning solution.
I got so enthused that I cut a disc out of a bit silicon mat and back flushed the group via the manual release.
Easy Peasy.

Loonster It’s a new thing your government introduced, they are trying to restrict imports to the USA to partially protect it’s own markets and partially just to be A PITA. I read something about it some time ago on HB. Also because it make food/hot drinks.

Loonster It’s most likely that the wrong tariff code has been used on the import documentation or there is some other issue with the paperwork. It happens remarkably often and is usually sorted quickly. Nothing more sinister than that. :-)

No. AFAIK, only 2 machines currently have that test feature. @DavecUK and @Cuprajake. In the evo thread, it was mentioned that they are working on a more production version.

I did 16g in my IMS for my second shot this morning and it worked beautifully.
I have a vague memory of seeing a 22.5mm high basket somewhere but it may not have been 54-55mm.

I have not used an IMS that size, so don’t really know.
