I had a Cremina 67. I believed all the hype. It is exceptionally well made of course but for me, I was delighted to sell it as it added nothing to my coffee habit. I am glad I owned one but it is not in the list of top things owned, unless you include desirability from others

Adrianmsmith heh…if it ever comes to that, sure. FWIW, that would only be replaced if ACS does an update - perhaps their own controller/software/new screens would “justify” it for me…

Go for it! Or at least give them a spray of paint. I did that with some concrete slabs I once used to put my Hi-Fi speakers with spikes on (painted not bound in leather) and that was acceptable to my other half and stopped the living room looking like Jewsons builders yard.

Thank you both. I can’t imagine being without a lever machine on the bar. There are so many things we encounter in which there’s an unsolvable dichotomy between function and form. Levers somehow manage to deliver both in spades.

When ACS shipped the machine, Maria asked if I would take pics an post them on Insta when the coffee bar was done. I said I would, so followed up. The first image came out really nice - it’s all natural light from the window also. Figured it would help some people see how nice the machine looks when reasonably matched up with worktop and room color.

Hi - I have been using my Vostok with the daily timer for single on and off, while I used my smart plug setup with my other machine. I tried a couple of things to get the machine to switch on by default with power (from the smart plug). 1. Set the day and timer time to - - - etc.. tried setting the on and off to 0500 and off at 23:00 (so that in theory any time between the two works..

anyone know how to default the machine to no timer/on with power ?
