Adrianmsmith Jason1wood When you get to my age any extra height is a help with the neck whilst looking at the burrs and assessing static etc!! If i had space it would be on a plinth at the side at shoulder height 🤓 Not found a granite brick yet at the right price

dfk41 I had a Cremina 67. I believed all the hype. It is exceptionally well made of course but for me, I was delighted to sell it as it added nothing to my coffee habit. I am glad I owned one but it is not in the list of top things owned, unless you include desirability from others

Pompeyexile Go for it! Or at least give them a spray of paint. I did that with some concrete slabs I once used to put my Hi-Fi speakers with spikes on (painted not bound in leather) and that was acceptable to my other half and stopped the living room looking like Jewsons builders yard.
Raja123 Cuprajake @ “DavecUK”#p76630 Thank you both. I can’t imagine being without a lever machine on the bar. There are so many things we encounter in which there’s an unsolvable dichotomy between function and form. Levers somehow manage to deliver both in spades.
Raja123 When ACS shipped the machine, Maria asked if I would take pics an post them on Insta when the coffee bar was done. I said I would, so followed up. The first image came out really nice - it’s all natural light from the window also. Figured it would help some people see how nice the machine looks when reasonably matched up with worktop and room color.
