Lelit tamper size

Anyone know if a 58.8mm will fit lelit basket?
I know the supplied is 58.55. I am talking with Gilberto about a Bravo tamper and he has asked if 58.8will work.

Penance - blimey. Personally, I wouldn’t go for something like that. All very well to fit the supplied basket, but what if you want to change basket to something else and that’s just too big? 58.5mm is what I have - also have a Bravo - and wouldn’t go anything wider than that.

58.8mm is for IMS baskets as far as I know. Wouldn’t fit to lelit basket or VST. I would say 58.6 is the max you can get away with.

The baskets that came with the Bianca have IMS on them.
Saying that, I think I’ll ask for 58.5, as it’s coming from Brazil I don’t want to risk having an expensive tamper I can’t use.
