Annoyingly the lens caps missing but it does have a UV filter fitted, only an Amazon basics so may replace with a Hoya

LMSC GIMP! An open source tool
Blimey! That’s a Linux image editing tool. It was a thing in 2001… I had no idea it’s still a thing, since I haven’t used it since! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
MediumRoastSteam They have a version for windows.

It still seems to be a popular open source tool. I haven’t used it.
I’ve recently fell in love with this guys youtube channel, the way he constructs his videos around reviewing products in that old Japanese Bladerunner/Cyberpunk style is awesome.
Definitely worth a look for a new take on a typical ‘review’ format video
i used to watch a guy called james beltz - very good he was too, but he wiped his youtube channel and all his vids are just on vimeo now

Cuprajake Highly recommend Peter Mckinnon too, his video’s aren’t always photography focused but there’s some cool inspiration to be had with their styling and product photography & landscapes!
I literally have a camera with a 50mm lens on at all points for work stuff, super versatile and makes for easy good shots!
Ernie1 Anytime! - I’m a big fan of that Japanese Anime/Cyber asthetic, Ghost in the Shell vibes in all his videos. Super cool visuals…now just how to tie it into a coffee video 🤔 😂
Ernie1 Still very much enjoying my X100S - though having looked at the F and V, I am kind of tempted to upgrade…
CrownandCanvas The X100C with a 58mm lens?
CrownandCanvas Ken Rockwell is another.
All of the X100 models are so brilliant.
I only upgraded mine to the XT1 and 2 as I thought ‘I just want this exact camera but with interchangeable lenses’
So what did I do? Got the XT1 and walked round with just the 23mm on for two years…
I now use the 35 a lot but I’m certain I could get by quite happily with the X100, and I much prefer the form factor of the X100 too.
And now I’m on ebay looking at things I totally shouldn’t be buying…THANKS GUYS.
this forum will do that to you lol

I still use my x100t every day. I would consider upgrading to the x100v if they were available only because the battery life on the t is poor, even with new batteries I only get around 50 shots per battery!

Flat_Eric That’s definitely odd - The S’s battery still dies suddenly with no warning, but I can get a couple of hundred shots per charge (without flash, in JPG 4:3 large format, using the viewfinder but not the screen). Possibly worth buying a new battery? Especially clones are cheap.
That is with new batteries. I shoot RAW, use the screen and have the performance setting turned on. I rotate three different batteries all from different suppliers because I thought my first one was a duff. Still love the camera though, my Nikons are just sat in the drawer doing nothing now, really must get them out and get motivated to use them again.

That may make the difference…
I usually go around with a spare charged battery anyway, because it tends to die with next-to-zero warning. At least they are small and cheap!
