Unlike non-lever machines, there are no default brew boiler temp offsets in Evo, which may be the case with Nurri. So, what you set as a brew boiler temp (ex: 98) is what you get. @DavecUK estimated the normal temp loss, when the group gets the brew water from the brew boiler is about 6c-8C lower. Setting a suitable temp at the group (ex: 92C) helps the group maintain the temp at the set point. This way, you can maintain an accurate temp profile for your shot by roast type.
In simple terms, repeatable and accurate temperature control that can be made hotter or colder. The temperature profiles that can be flat, declining or rising, but in a repeatable and controllable way.
I am assuming the Nurri functions the same way as the Evo. Dave will be able to confirm or otherwise.
