  • Izzo Alex Duetto

Hi All,

I’m selling my Duetto, which I bought new from Bella Barista in 2009. It’s a MkI with MkII feet.

It’s served me well, but with a small kitchen I’ve decided it’s time to downsize to a smaller machine.

It’s had very light use, probably only 5-10 cups of coffee per week. It only gets switched on for the minimum time to make coffee and not left running for extended periods. I’ve used Brita filtered water all it’s life, with very regular cartridge changes.

I’ve descaled it roughly every six months, and serviced the group a number of times. Last group service 20/6/21 with all seals and sprigs replaced, last descale 1/1/23.

No significant blemishes for a machine of this age. The drip tray cover has some wear as expected.

I’ve still got the accessories supplied with the machine, including the Bella Barista manual. I’ll also include a bottomless portafilter bought separately.

No significant issues over the years. I had to change the brew boiler temperature sensor a while back but that’s about it.

Collection only from west Kent, £520 ono.

If anyone has any questions or wants any photos of specific areas, let me know.

MattH - it’s an old machine. Back in its day it was the bees knees. Things have evolved, however, that machine providing it has been looked after well, will make fantastic espresso. It wasn’t a cheap machine back in the day either.

For £350 or whatever it is… It’s a bargain for someone starting off on a budget. Providing you look after it well, it should last you a long time, and you may even be able to sell for the same price in a few years time if you decide to.

MattH Good machine for a newbie then ?

It is, I had a big hand in the top level design of it back in the day, that specific machine. It’s very temp accurate and stable, produces great espresso. For 350, well worth a punt.
