Lets be frank here…If you had no unconscious bias and are not posting in support of a machine u own (and against a machine that happens to represent the biggest threat to your machine’s future demand), why is it that it is the evo that you always post positive things about and not a machine that u don’t own?
If u r not threatened by the nurri, why do u post even in the nurri threads on forums posts that have the effect of casting shade on the nurri in favour of the evo? (Eg how u felt the need to post in a nurri thread how you suddenly realised that the evo had slightly larger steam boiler than the nurri immediately after someone had complained on tbe home barista forum that his nurri steaming power was not as strong as a lambro)…i am noticing these these patterns by you and others, and keeping note…
The evo does not have superior specs than the nurri in relation to what is needed for the job. It does the job and if the evo does the job too, then both are just as good as each other in what counts. Any difference in specs for the similar equipment they have doesn’t somehow make the coffee the evo produces any tastier.
You didn’t just say vibration - you also said noisy. U had absolutely no evidence to support that suggestion, Jake. So why mention it? As for the vibration allegation, u made a blanket statement that does not agree with the experience of nurri owners like me. The only machine that ever vibrated according to personal testimony was the very early unit that dave tested and that was due to a lack of anchoring as he himself pointed out.
The nurri leva has been tested by the manufacturer with infrared camera (there’s a photo that shows this on nurri social media if I recall rightly) and scace and thermocouple as to its temperature stability and control…
By all means let us promote our machines…but there’s no need to run other machines down in favour of our own…
