Didn’t update the thread for a while but continued my journey with very enjoyable results.
Roasted PNG from rave which was very goodz followed by anerobic Colombian from Pennine - my initial plan was to roast it light to highlight the fruity notes but then remembered black cats La Esperanza was roasted medium so done that and it turned out brilliant. Tropical fruits with boozy notes. Glad I got a kilo of this one.
Been tasting new roasting app as well which kept crashing mid roast but worked well first time today.
Tonight I had another go at Ethiopian Sidamo from Rave. Started at lower drop temperature and went slower as wanted to have it more developed but not as dark as last time. Still think ended too dark but will find out in few days.
What I’m really enjoying is that even though the roasts look/are far from ideal they turn out to be very drinkable!
