Wanted Niche Zero, early model

I specifically want a British made Zero. These will have an 18 (2018) in the serial number. I did own one from the original batch, but a friend borrowed it which turned into a well you do not need it and eventually he bought it. Then of course the production moved overseas. If there is a choice I would prefer white but I do not think I will be inundated with offers somehow!

I actually have a UK made one, unused/boxed…never opened. in white. Need to fund my new phone.

Not sure if I want to sell it, but if I do it’s best to a mate

@dfk41 - I also have a super early bird model. I’m not planning to sell it, unless… I eventually buy the Duo (or hopefully the Uno :-) if they decide to not bother with the filter burr, take a few quid off the price and fill in that box with styrofoam.

Out of curiosity though, why are you after this specific model? I mean, whether it’s made in 2018 or 2023 surely it’s still a Niche Zero?

MediumRoastSteam I am a nerd of course! I doubt i will be using the Zero much but I have not yet bought a Duo, although I will. I have just been taking my time in answering the question, if I could only own one grinder, which one would it be? I am coming down on the side of the Duo, simply because it does both disciplines well. I do not think that I will ever go down the specialist burr route and am very happy with the results that the Mazzer burrs give. So, the answer to your question is simple. I like authenticity and if i am going to have a Zero sitting in the cupboard then a British made one appeals to my warped mind! I do have a black 2018 one that my son has so a white one kinds of completes that particular circle!

Ha. Thought so. If I eventually go and buy the Niche flat and decide to sell mine, I’ll bear this in mind. Hopefully you find one in the meantime though. 👍

I have planned to sell mine in the coming weeks with my Duo now on order and having checked with DC he doesn’t mind alerting you to mine also. I’m looking for £300 David, white one of the first run I presume with serial number 082. I don’t want to tread on others though so no offence either way. My home use is about 25kg per year so 100kg or so on the burrs, motor was replaced about 2 years ago when the first one decided to stop, didn’t know why and James simply sent another one.
