I was literally just reading about this!
I still haven’t actually used the app, I need to check it out. Not sure which features work with the original Mini since the boiler temp controls for brew/steam are manual.
I must admit I find the direction they’re going in with the Acaia and Pico pairing for grind by weight etc a bit odd. Just doesn’t seem to be a great strategy for capturing the wider home market but what do I know.
What I love(d) about LM is that they were a top Commercial manufacturer that happened to make a couple of machines small enough for the home. It’s increasingly feeling like the home/commercial lines are diverging.
To me it makes the value proposition even weaker if they’re sitting among home/prosumer machines but at a far higher price with fewer features.
