Hi,
I am selling my DE1XL purchased new back in January and is therefore just a few months old. It has only be used at home and is in “as new” condition. Shot count is 233. The only very small sign of use is a mark on the shot mirror lip which I have tried to show in the photos. Replacement part is £10 from Decent if desired.
This has been well looked after and only run with Waitrose Lockhill/Tesco Ashbeck.
Comes with all original items, flight case and box.
Warranty until 12/1/25 and is transferrable to the new owner. Also, Decent recently made available “Warranty Extensions” which extend the warranty for 2 years at a cost of £292. These extensions can be purchased every 2 years to keep the machine under warranty. Please see their website for more details.
I have had no issues with the machine. So why am I selling? It’s just too much machine for me. Yes, you can “set and forget” and it can be as simple as you want but personally, I don’t feel that is what this machine is for. I am not massively into light roasts and experimentation and always end up gravitating towards the safety of quality espresso blends. In short, I am not using the machine to it’s full potential, and that bugs me. I hope someone else can enjoy all the weird a wonderful things it can do.
I paid just shy of £4,000 including taxes and shipping in January. I’m looking for £3,450. They have now released v1.44 with some minor changes (strangely mine came with the v1.44 screwless faceplate) but the price has jumped up to around £4,500 all in for the white DE1XL.
If you would like more photos please just let me know. Similarly, if you have any questions, fire away! Thank you.
