Beverast One thing I will definitely be getting is an external cooler. The cooling cycle on the Cormorant just takes too long in my opinion - around 3-4 minutes.
Just make your own cooler.
- Square Cardboard box;
- Metal pasta colander;
- A shop Vac (or whatever el cheapo vacuum cleaner you have, or any spare one)
Make a cut for the colander on top of the box. Make sure it fits nicely. Duck tape is your friend to seal the gaps. The idea is that you can lift the colander in and out.
On the side of the box, at the bottom, make a hole where you can slot the hose of the vacuum cleaner in.
Move the beans around while cooling with a wooden spoon or similar.
