They do scratch quite easily unfortunately leaving tiny surface marks on top . I don’t use the rubber protector on mine.
It is a cracking, super responsive scale though

Here is an update to my review. Bottom line: Don’t buy one!!
I am encountering serious performance issues. It dramatically overshoots the weight at which I stop the shot, and then very slowly declines backwards to end above, at or below the stop weight. It also does not hold a tare (declines to a negative #).
I have a Lelit Elizabeth. If I attempt to run a ratio of 15.0 in, 28.5 out, I might hit the stop bottom on my Lelit at 26.5, to allow for the time it takes for me to see the 26.5 reading, hit the stop button and allow for the shot to stop at 28.5. The scale will overshoot to 31.5, and then slowly decline to 27.7!! This changes every time. I cannot run an accurate brew ratio. I have never encountered this issue with other less expensive scales. My Timemore Black Nano does not have this problem.
FYI, I recharged the scale and the issue remains.
JHCCoffee could you post a video of it ?
I’m curious as mine is complete opposite and the most accurate scale I had to date. Had mine since December 2022.
Edit:
This is mine . Run too fast as first shot of new coffee so have to grind finer.

I had a 15.0g in, 28.5gout profile for the shot. I stopped the shot at a supposed 26.5, in order hit 28.5. But the final weight was close to 46g!!!
Here are a couple of videos and a photo:
Video of a scale weight shifts, post tare. Difluid Tare Shifts
Video of the pour - Pour Using Microbalance The weight peaked at a supposed 30.8g and then declined to 29.8g; not as much of a decline as in other shots, but weight should not decline, right? And this weight was completely off, as I reweighed the shots at 45g.
Pics of the re weighed shots
The slight differences in end weight are due to pouring from one cup to another.
PS I have a bit of a steam wand tip steam leak, but I pointed the wand tip way to the right, not even close to the scale. It should not affect it.
So strange. Just as a test if you put it on the worktop rather than on your machine and pour water from a jug to a cup. Does it do the same thing ?
Just thinking if it’s not sitting right while on the machine

Excellent suggestion!
And yes, the depth of the scale is such that the front legs sit on drip tray edge but the rear legs sit on the drip tray grill, such that there is a very slight inclination to the scale. So at your suggestion I tested weighing on:
The counter
The wood block they provided, sitting on the drip tray
The drip tray, slightly pulled out, to allow the scale to sit more level
I filled a beaker with 50 ml water (weighing 46g, though it should weigh 50g) and was able to consistently pour and weigh 46g, on the above surfaces. But if I weighed on the drip tray as is, I had varying weights, tending towards 35g.
So, I think the above solves the problem.
I have just strongly suggested that the manufacturer provide much better usage, FAQ and trouble shooting information on their website, so that their customers can avoid these problems. Their instruction manual is very limited/poor.
I will likely withdraw my AliExpress refund request and dispute, once I test the scale on my espresso machine.
@prezes and all
Update : It wasn’t the levelness of the scale.
If the back of the scale touches anything (a wall, the machine, anything), this causes accuracy issues. In fact if any side of the scale touches anything, it causes accuracy issues. Even my finger lightly touched on any side causes accuracy issues.
The sides are all one casing and the scale is very very sensitive to any touch, other than on the top.
Pretty happy with my tiny2s I found through this thread. It’s not the worlds best dremelling but I will sand it out tomorrow. Espresso mode with auto-tare would be perfect for this setup if it didn’t stop weighing when the espresso is slow. However I can live with pressing the tare button in normal mode, just need to remember to not over fill the drip tray 😊
The only thing with my Tiny2S is that it had a defect. The display board was is not securely fastened, such that it periodically shifts and the top of the numbers get cut off. I purposely bought it on Amazon, just in case, who quickly processed a refund and did not require me to mail it back to China, which would have cost a lot! So, this may be a one off thing, or they may have a quality control issue.
I’d buy it again as my travel scale, but only through Amazon, as AliExpress’s refund process is challenging.
Quick question:
Where did you read the thing with Felicita being a copy of Acaia?
I just bought a Felicita. It’s OK but intelectual theft would be a no go…
Jesuismihai Where did you read the thing with Felicita being a copy of Acaia
It’s just that the Felicita Arc scales share a lot of design similarities with the Acaia Lunar as the Lunar was pretty unique when it first got released.
i’ve had the Arc for circa three or four years now bought from Northstar coffee in Leeds had an issue with the first set with the weight drifting slightly and Northstar were awesome. Put me in touch with felicitas importer in the UK (i assume) who replaced immediately with no questions. the second set I’ve had I have had no issues with. Used twice a day every day in timer and weight mode. Have to say I love the low profile which allows you to get clearance between Portafilter and drip dry. Price point is also very appealing given cost of acacia higher end scales. I’m sure if you’re running a commercial coffee shop the extra spend for acacia is more than justified for build quality and reliability but for your average espresso home enthusiast who doesn’t want to take risks with cheap Chinese Amazon rip-offs and wants an aesthetically pleasing well built, reliable. accurate, responsive scale with all the functions you are likely to need I think the acacia arc are fantastic scale. for me would a pair of acacia pearls look good with my setup and if i had the money would i buy some ? absolutely, but would taste difference in the cup….. NOPE, don’t reckon i would!
