for silicone sealer (which is what i first thought the title was referring to) as opposed to lubricant i always use Fernox LS-X and have no issues. its stated as suitable for drinking water but they seem to not want to publish maximum operating temperature recommendations. Never been an issue so far!!

£6 for 50ml may sound a lot but youre not doing the side of the bath with it!!
For actual lubricant i use Filter logic CFL651 for O rings etc its thicker than oil but not as sticky as the stuff you’d use on the group
and Martin Chemical HT silicone grease for group head etc Quite “sticky”
Both of the above for the simple reason they were in stock when Moylkote 111 wasn’t readily available, seems to be more readily available in the US than the UK? (when i purchased a couple of years back)
