Rob666 - I’m an Apple everything. iPad, iPhone, MacBook. My wife and child have iPhones. Last year, however, I said to myself I have to try an Android phone
. Criteria for me was that it had to be pure, so the only way was the Google Pixel. There’s nothing the Pixel can’t do that the iPhone can’t. Whoever says that Android is slow, or laggy, or sluggish or doesn’t perform, or lacks features, or isn’t secure, or that it isn’t polished, is essentially omitting the truth.
When I switched I got a lot of backlash from friends telling me all the doom and gloom. Yes, most likely this was the case 3 or 4 years ago, but it’s no longer. The Android OS has come a long way. I can assure you, as I have been using an Android phone for he past 8 months or so.
Would I go back to iOS? Of course - it’s a great operating system. What do I miss the most? Integration with other Apple devices: in other words, the ecosystem. The Apple ecosystem is pretty good and well integrated, and if you have other apple devices in your household, they all just work and integrate effortless. That bit I miss.
