New thread so as not to derail the Duo thread.
The general consensus seems to be that it doesn’t really matter which burr goes into the fixed position and which burr goes into the rotating position. Top or bottom, is doesn’t make any difference.
Or does it?
Entirely conindentally, I opened up the DF64V this afternoon to swap the burrs that the V cames with (SSP Lab Sweet) with a set of Fiorenzato F64s Red Speeds.
In doing so I noticed that the SSP Lab Sweets had “Fixed” and “Rotary” printed on the top of each burr.
I’ve taken pics of both sides of the burrs and I’d LOVE to know if anyone can figure out why the Fixed burr needs to be in the fixed location and the Rotary burr needs to be rotating.
