whinmoor85 I’ve seen a lot of talk recently about infused coffees, where fruits and other ingredients like koji are added to the fermentation stage and they seem to divide opinion - mostly that it’s a gimmicky method used to add flavours to mediocre coffee that wouldn’t exist naturally. Does anyone know where to buy these coffees from? I’ve found the following but not much: Strawberry infused coffee Hydrangea Coffee Roasters have been featured by Brian Quran on his YouTube channel Bourbon whiskey barrel aged coffee from Darkwoods Coffee in Huddersfield. I’ve had this one before and the aroma is amazing.
MWJB whinmoor85 I understand the criticism, but it’s worth remembering that coffee beverage doesn’t exist naturally, you could also argue that washed coffees from areas that were historically naturally processing is tampering. If it tastes good, do it 😀 These seem to be out of stock at the moment…. https://assemblycoffee.co.uk/products/assembly-fruit-fermentation-series
whinmoor85 MWJB Yeah I guess it depends where your red lines are. I’m more than happy to try them, just not sure where to purchase them from without paying loads for postage.
