JammyDodger - I had my Duo now for approx 5 months, 2× 18g coffees a day. I don’t have the filter burrs, so I don’t take the burrs in and out on a daily or weekly basis as the intended use of the grinder. The only time I do this is for cleaning.
It’s been about 3 months since I last cleaned it (I gave it a deep clean last week, and was pleasantly surprised to find 1g of coffee in, the majority of it being caked coffee in places I had to use a brush to get it out, like grooves or very edge of the burr).
At the beginning I cleaned it more often, every two weeks and then every month.
I have never, thus far, found the holding screw being lose. It’s actually quite a consistent grinder.
