IZPresso JMax Vs Niche Zero Grind Settings

I am starting to use my new IZPresso JMax. I’d like to correlate grind settings on my Niche Zero to my JMax. Ideally I would use a Kruve sifter to do so, but I don’t currently own one. If you happen to own these two grinders, can you share your experiences on the correlation of grind settings between the two. Even rough calibration guidance will save me trial and error beans and effort.

Honestly I wouldn’t try to dial grinders in that way, especially a manual as varying speed/angle can indeed affect the end result. Just a matter of trial/error to really zone in on a usable range, then fine tune tweaks as needed.

Don’t people grind manually at a similar speed & angle that’s comfortable anyway?

MWJB Data is for OCD nerds and not much real world useful purpose. I go by what I can feel/see and of course the end result.

Grinding at a consistent speed/angle is easier said than done and doesn’t take much variation to change the grind fineness.

MWJB Data is for those lacking skill/instinct… do what works for you, but I average manual grinding upwards of 100 lbs yearly for espresso range use, so yeah I kinda know exactly how it works by feel/taste/texture and will never rely on scientific claims.
