Hi , my names Adam ,

im new to the forum , was after some of you guys opinions, and experience with the Bianca .

I’m about to pull the trigger on one , but have recently seen a few threads on people having issues with funny tasting water coming out of there Bianca’s , has anyone here experienced any of theses issues ?

I’ve currently got a Nuova Simonelli Musica that I’ve had for 9 years , and it’s not had any issues at all , I’ve always just used Brita filtered water , and have only descaled the heat exchanger twice in that time , in which the water that come out after the descale was pretty clean both times .

I’m now after more control with temperatures, and fancy trying flow control as I’m looking to play about and see how much more I can get out of my coffee .

Any comments would be very gratefully received ,

Adamdorrington84 Welcome to the forum. A few members have them, I’ve got 3cand no issues with water on 2 of them, the other one is new and unused.

Welcome to the Forum. I can’t speak for the Bianca, having never owned one, but would think funny tasting water is more down to the user / their cleaning process / the water they use than a fault of the machine itself

Thanks Dave , I remember seeing your original write up many years ago on the Bianca , that Bella barista had up on their site ,

I’ve wanted a Bianca since , I can get a new one for just over £1600 so seems a great deal .

Misses might not agree tho , as she doesn’t drink coffee and might get jealous of the attention I will be giving the Bianca if I get it 😂

My other option if I wanted to save some money on the purchase of a machine is to upgrade to the Niche duo ,

I currently use the zero , and love it , been getting great tasting shots from my musica , as I learnt the art of temperature surfing ,

Do you think if I was just to upgrade my grinder and stick with the musica , I could still achieve a decent improvement in my espresso? Or would the extra stability and control from the Bianca and the zero would be head and shoulders better ?

That’s my two options that I’m trying to decide what to go with .

I have a V2 and love it.
A couple of very minor issues with sensors over three or so years.

grinder for me depends what coffee your drinking, i prefer the duo over the zero,

the bianca will give you more consistency and get rid of the need to surf

I’ve had mine just coming up to 3 years, no issues and used daily.

Morning all ..

Just got my new Bianca , un-boxed and setup up ,

Beautiful machine ,😍 first coffee, was pretty dam good , can’t wait to see what this machine can do !

Any advice on anything , I need to be aware with / or do to the machine that’s just come from the factory ?
