I’ve had mine ten months from new and the wooden ball fell off the handle over the Christmas when I was at my folks. I’ve used it almost exclusively for aeropress in work since I bought it but was using it for espresso while at my folks over the holidays. I can still use it, by simply replacing the ball on the handle. By looking up online others seem to have experienced this when grinding for espresso too. It has fallen off a couple more times since. In fairness to the company I contacted them - as they give a one year warranty as standard- and they got back the same day offering to send me a replacement part. Anyone else had this issue/suggest a fix? (Although I’ll be back to coarser aeropress grind in the new year I reckon the same thing will happen the replacement ball if I continue to grind fine)
