schmerg Thanks @DavecUK - fitted a new safety valve (from Bella Barista) and that’s fixed the issue of leaking steam.
As an FYI for anyone reading, the (original V1) old valve was shorter, like the one in your photo, than the new one (longer like in the photo I posted) but it was listed as Lelit Bianca Safety Valve and it was marked up “OP 3 Bar” same as the old one. I think it needed a 16mm spanner to remove the old one, and a 15mm to fit the new one but the thread’s the same. When first fitted, I could hear some steam hissing and escaping from the thread, so rather than try to tighten it beyond what I thought was comfortable, I turned the machine off, left it overnight to cool down, and then removed and refitted it with a little PTFE tape wound onto the thread and that seems to have fixed it.
