I have a couple f questions in the hope that some folks might KNOW the answer. Let us just say, you buy a coffee machine for £1000 and it comes with a 2 year manufacturers warranty. That is all well and good so whilst you are researching, you come across references to extending the warranty from an Insurance company. Now it starts to get confusing as they tell you that you have to select this option around the point of sale. this means if you already have a 2 year warranty and buy a three year warranty it runs concurrently so in effect, you are only getting an additional year but paying for 3……am I right or wrong please?
