MediumRoastSteam We are two mostly. Our gas monthly charge without central heating is on an average £27 a month. Our hot water comes up just once a day for 30 mins. On an average, our gas cooking will be at the max 30 mins on working days and 1 hour on week ends. We use insta pot for 5-10 mins a day.
Ours’ was fixed in Aug 21. With the new prices, it be £81 and perhaps 2 times — £162 without central heating - in Sep 23.
It is all relative and I think it is cheaper than what it would cost us at current prices. No?
Edit:
Like Rob, we just wonder how do we reduce power bills and cut gas consumption further.
I wonder if we could explore battery / solar charged thermal wears for winter.
