WANTED - Mate book D14 help

didn’t know where to out this, my laptop took the BCOD only 18 months old. Possibly is it SSD. Mate book D14 touch screen, i7 512ssd. Not cheap lappy not happy any help ease guy’s

Is it BSOD? If yes, it can be due to a variety of reasons - offending drivers which are old, not compatible and unpatched, not updating the OS, hardware.

There will be an error code, when it goes BSOD. Grab a photo and google that. IMO, the SSDs seldom go wrong.

You can restore to a previously working version or re-image. You have got a few options and choose what you are comfortable with.

I am aware some might pop up and state these are hardly helpful. 😂

Most computers these days have a recovery partition. Or… do you have a windows DVD? You could try and restart your PC in safe mode to see if it boots? Try the troubleshoot menu.

As MRS suggested, please start with trouble shoot. It may ask for windows DVD and/or downloading relevant tools (ex: windows fixit) online. Please pay attention to what it asks and follow the prompt.

I have had this BSOD on my work laptop. Trouble shooting pointed memory error. They had to replace the motherboard as memory is embedded on the mother board itself.

Another tip

Run command prompt
sfc /scannow

This will scan for corrupted files and fix it. If this doesn’t run properly, run the command prompt with elevated admin privileges.
