frewp error code message “Groupe 1 T.ProbeUnconnect”
I asked because the error message is odd, sounded like a group temp probe, which only exists on the Evo and Falcon I.
The temp probes have a red wire, about 12cm down the wire, there is a black connector that joines to another red wire….this wire leads to the Main Board. The connector is there because the probe only comes with a short lead and when you change the probe, you disconnect it at that point.
You don’t say what year your machine was built, or when you purchased, but from a old mainboard I have. The Red arrow points to the caldaia Caffe (CN7) and the Yellow to the caldaia vapore (CVN10)…Coffee and steam boiler respectively. The count goes up from the bottom CN7 thru to CN15. This all contain the low voltage lines for temp probes and SSRs Many of these won’t be used, because it’s a board that can be used for 3 group machines.
Of course it’s quite likely the probe has gone bad if it’s an older machine. you have to be very careful not to move the wires about or let them twist when replacing it.
