Response from Ozone FYI:
"Hello Mark, good afternoon.
Thank you for your message and for letting us know, we have heard from a few customers about messages being sent out pretending to be us with a heavily discounted AeroPress bundle offer and those messages definitely aren’t coming from us.
We’ve been doing our best to deal with this issue since we were first made aware and have been reporting anything/everything to do with it to the companies that provide the numerous services involved including domain hosting companies, email message sending services, and Shopify stores that have been set up as part of this too. The people responsible have been using a range of different/new domains as part of the attack to get around certain email security standards + try to evade spam filters, we’re reporting each of them as quickly as we can and are hoping action will be taken swiftly.
I would ask that you please report the email to your email provider, block the sender, and please don’t click on anything within the message. If you also have time, please forward the offending message to The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) at report@phishing.gov.uk
We’ve been confidently reassured by support teams at all the main platforms we actively currently use that no data has been compromised. All accounts are secured with 2FA and all login activity has been accounted for. Our current investigations point to email addresses and names being unfortunately accessed via a single historical account on a platform that is no longer in active use. The account has been locked and closed by the company it was held with.
I’m very sorry you received the offending communications and appreciate you bringing this to our attention."
