  • For Sale - Ikawa Home 100g / Sample Roaster - £725

Selling this Ikawa Home 100g roaster. It’s brilliant and we’ve had some fantastic coffee out of it but I just haven’t got the time to roast and it isn’t getting used as much as it should be.

Controlled via the Ikawa Home app which works great. You can use any green beans but I’ve included some in the sale along with lots of bags to store your fresh roasts.

I can’t find the box anywhere so I’ve reduced the price to reflect, will package very well for posting.

Any questions, please ask.

Will post to UK for £10 using an insured service.

It’s a truly great roaster but ultimately I found the 100g restricting.

I was roasting 500g a week to keep up with what we use and whilst that only took an hour, you have to be present to change beans/profile.

I’m put off larger roasters by the ventilation systems required so unless someone comes out with a 500g roaster that somehow doesn’t need venting and can just be stuck in a kitchen cupboard (unlikely!) then I’ll be going back to buying roasted in the meantime!

Again, can’t fault the Ikawa though, had some really enjoyable roasts from it and for anyone who just wants to dabble or only drinks 200g a week or so, it’s ideal.

HarveyMushman to be fair that’s what puts me off those roasters. I roast 200g at a time in mine which leaves me with just over 170g normally of roasted coffee. Do two roasts at a time which seems to be just about ok.

perfectly a 300g batch each would be ideal for me
