I was of the same opinion - my stand out coffee in the last 12 months. Great in both filter/espresso. I instantly ordered this new lot when it became available a couple of weeks ago. I’ve been drinking it this week (roasted 4th Sep) It’s not the same for my palette. Seems a darker roast to me. Be interesting to hear your opinion in a few weeks…

Hopefully you won’t be disappointed mate. Just seems darker to me. I have been drinking medium (Hard Lines) most of this year and that’s spot on for my palette so I’ve stuck with the subscription. It’s still nice in a flat white just not the same in the aeropress. I’m no filter expert so I stick to the recommended grind settings for the duo. So I have to concur with your thoughts on this one. Not as good as I remember it being. Still very enjoyable, but has just not got the magic it has the last time I had it

@"dutchy101"#p72402 Thanks Ive started freezing the coffeelink beans as well . I Freeze in The delivered bag after squeezing the co2 out!! Few hours prior ro needing i pour 250 ish in to a small stainless aeropress and leave in the cool cupboard. Should i be adding anything to the ritual. Ive seen all sorts suggesting you need to freeze and defrost in vacuum sealed bags etc etc.

BlackCatCoffee Never usually one for anything coffee flavoured tbh but yep the cappuccino ones were quite enjoyable tbf. I’ve used many roasters but always keep tabs with blackcat as the quality, value and service offered is spot on! Cheers David 👍
