Elcarajillo
Not a texture thing but smell and taste. As a kid, I would eat cod fish fingers or cod fishcakes, but not even that now. I have tried all sorts but for some reason ALL food from the sea tastes and smells to me like a harbour when the tide is out, and I have even tried some from quite posh restaurants… even a Micheline star one.
My other half loves fish, so I put up with the smell for her sake. But we eat in separate rooms when she has it…joke!
The only thing I can eat that is born in water is rice or cress :)
