Emc2 My take on how to foam milk. I post this with some trepidation as I am certain there are others in this group who are really skilled. But this is fairly basic stuff that should hopefully help beginners. How to foam milk
DavecUK Emc2 Good video…I’d get that caution sticker of the group head ASAP with some “goo gone” or similar before it goes black/etches the group head chrome. I use this: https://tinyurl.com/372a4bma
Emc2 DavecUK thanks for the warning. I didn’t realise it could damage the chrome. I used neat vinegar which did the job.
MattH Wow that really good… i still get too excited when the wiggle heart looks good - and then i forget what the actual plan was….
MediumRoastSteam MattH Wow that really good… i still get too excited when the wiggle heart looks good - and then i forget what the actual plan was…. you are not alone on that one ;-)
MattH dfk41 well maybe - if the milk does not come out as a large blob then I think aha create a pattern - and then I always get a wiggly heart/flower type shape…..
simonc Really pleased with this this morning. Both actually pushing the start of the pour to get it to fill the whole cup but also having enough milk left to do a decent heart at the top. Still can’t pour in the middle of the cup though
Adrianmsmith ☕😁💩 Not so much latte art as a way to judge how bad my puck prep is today The more interesting the pattern the more lazy I was again.
Adrianmsmith HarveyMushman Nearly…… Milk first Brew directly in to the mug. Done it for Years since I decided my body and hands are 99.9 percent engineer. 0.1 percent artist!! From a real lazy day it appears ….. Loads of splatter
simonc Finally in the middle of the mug. Left it a a bit long before taking photo so some little bubbles appear. Definitely finding stacking easier on the Bianca. Might just be the steam tip. photo
