I have the flat Max 2. due to the tight scottish git that I bought it off, it did not come with the Mr. Puff (or the cover cap). I did not check the accessories box when I collected it and Derby to Edinburgh was too far to go back and bang on his door.
I do use a generic bellow which works great.
Due to burr geometry it is always going to be possible for one or a few fragments of beans to hide away due to the relatively slow speed and relatively low centrifugal force.
That does not indicate a bad grinder design does it?
Of course it will be less likely on something like the Mazzer philos or the EK 43 and I cannot finish a sentence off that starts with DF🤢🤢 Sorry 🤦🏼♂️
The later models may be better but the V2 I had put me off for life.
P S. You may find the term rdt or as you put it misting is not the favourite term on this forum ( @dfk41 ) Haha 🤪🤓. It probably will not chalk you up for a ban though!!
