Better dosing funnel for the ACS Evo Leva 2 / Vostok??

Just checking to see what others may be using for a dosing funnel for their Evo Leva or Vostok. The 54mm dosing funnel that shipped with my Evo Leva doesn’t have much of a lip on it and it makes it pretty easy to spill. It is also pretty loose fitting. I do sort of miss flipping my portafilter on top of my 58mm dosing cup and dropping it in that way, but I digress.

We were lucky to be able to purchase this from @Norvin but i believe they are “out if stock” & “out of production” now ……

@sketchy …. Be aware, the ones on amazon for 54mm that fit on the outside if the basket will NOT fit as myself and @Grahamsphillips found out pretty much the same week i believe!!

Yeah, that is exactly the reason I reached out. It doesn’t take much for something that is great to not work at all.

I have a Sworks and I love it.
Magnets to hold it on, tamp through, 58mm catch cup upends perfectly into the top.

Amberale I bought the sworks as well. I was hoping to find something cheaper (with VAT and transport to the EU it was quite expensive) but god it works brilliantly!

Highly recommend.

For my Nurri, I have the Sworks funnel and now have upgraded to the Sworks catch cup. Very happy with Sheldon’s products. The funnel worked great. I just prefer grinding into a cup rather than the PF.

I have the Craig Lyn shaker funnel II. It doesn’t really fit our baskets well. It was great for when I had my Streitman, but not for our 55mm baskets.

Thats good to know, thank you, i had been debating it from looking at the dimensions published.

I guess it fits but with a lot if movement??

I have the No 1, 58mm from having the synchronika but thats about the same as the weber magic tumbler, both being 58mm.

Guess i continue with Norvins funnel and the search continues 😎

Hi Adrian: My Craig Lyn Funnel II is packed away in the garage. My reasoning on why this is not a great funnel for our baskets is based upon the diameter of the opening of the Funnel II. It is designed to sit on a wide diameters of baskets, but the hole is really for 49mm baskets. Meaning for a 55mm basket, it leaves the grounds in the center of the basket and then requires work to get an even distribution of the grounds in our baskets.

I’ve attached two videos, one shows the stability of the Sworks funnel on our baskets and the 2nd shows how clean it leaves the grounds in the basket.
