On Tuesday 8th April at 8.51 I received email confirmation for an order that I had just placed for 4 different 250 gm bags of coffee. At 9am I received a second system email telling me that the items had been dispatched. They turned up yesterday all claiming to have been roasted on the 8th! So, that is 9 minutes before 9am to roast 4 × 250 gm bags of different coffee.
Am I being cycnical in thinking that these had been roasted sometime earlier and simply labelled up, od do you believe them!
Iam not going to name them yet but I am going to email them now and ask them to explain it!

dfk41 My guess would be that they hadn’t actually been despatched at 9am, maybe just the despatch label/tracking number was generated (you may be able to check parcel history?). Courier/postal pick ups tend to be later in the day. The roaster wouldn’t have any reason to believe there would be any issue in fulfilling the order, at time of confirmation?

Now that is very efficient. Worth a name now. Can’t ask for more really, plus 5 mins after you sent email is cracking service.
