simonc Congrats and welcome to the club. You’ve done the same as me minus the wood kit which I would’ve loved and will no doubt do in future, just can’t justify £95 for the official one right now. Where did you find this Minima? The wait will be worth it.
As for water, I ended up getting the Osmio Zero, contacted Osmio and asked if they had any refurbs and to my luck they had a grade B (slightly marked) unit and sold me it for £250. Came with new filters and 3 year warranty, can’t complain for £200 off RRP. Has only the smallest marks on it so got really lucky. I just didn’t want to be buying bottles (environmental reasons for long term) or making up my own water (too lazy).
For tamper, the Motta competition is great and I can highly recommend as it’s 58.4mm and fits like a glove. Jug, you’ve got so much choice, I kept my Sage temperature jug for mine but might eventually buy a smaller one for the single drinks I currently make.
