Cuprajake Once you have tried to make 4 milk drinks back to back for family with a single boiler you will wish to god you bought a dual boiler.
Thanks, but there are only two of us and we don’t have that many coffees a day, one each. With a machine that’s easier to use that might increase to two a day. :)
dfk41 I think the OP has enough info to make a decision. He has asked on here, and been told the opinion of many, yet seems absolutely no nearer his destination. I do not think that you can glean much from watching videos.
I’m grateful for all the opinions shared. :) I’m no nearer a decision as I’ve seen a machine I like the sound of - thanks a lot Dave! - but can’t really stretch that far, there’s lots of other calls on our spare cash atm. So I’m trying to be sensible and look at quality but with limits ie Profitec Go whilst really wanting to buy a Mechanika Max! But when purchasing ‘gadgets’ well or any expensive items I find that is how I am, afterall ‘buy cheap buy twice’!
So I thought I’d be be sensible and buy a Go, but they’re out of stock, lol. So I’m currently looking at the Mechanika Slim. But I think I’ll wait for the Go. But maybe not. Still, lots of the fun in buying something expensive is the research, and I do find the videos helpful, they often highlight things I hadn’t considered or things they didn’t mean to.
PS I don’t think I want the Elizabeth for two reasons, one it’s pretty dull looking and two I don’t really need a dual boiler. :)
PPS I’m not a bloke. :)
