Sky can be a huge cost these days for sure, my in-laws were paying well over £100 just for TV (presumably with all the Sports/Movies).
Ours was about £80 but that was full-fibre broadband (real-world speed is about 900mbps) and TV. As above we added sports since Sky Sports Tennis was launched which we watch a lot, and is now around £100.
I don’t love the price but it’s a rock-solid service and I prefer the simplicity of quickly watching shows we’ve recorded than finding/streaming them from one of the OD platforms.
I must admit though, it’s increasingly frustrating having all the different networks each requiring their own subscription and then you need an account with them too, then you need to login etc.
