Real Issues with the site…is it just me?

In the past week or so I’m having real trouble with the site keep bringing up this…

It has been getting worse and worse and at one time I even kept getting a 502 Gateway error but that seems to have stopped.

I am having to refresh all the time and often have to log out and back in again to read posts let alone join in with one myself.

I have tried turning off my Nord VPN but it makes no difference. I have cleared out this and that but again no difference. This is the only website I am having trouble with all others load without any issue.

Any ideas?

Pompeyexile They were doing some other server updates today…in fact it might be worth clearing your browser cache for the site if you are still having problems. The site has been running really quick since all the upgrades have finished, for me responses are almost instant…Except of course when pasting images, because they go up to (and are stored on) imgur.

I get that occasionally, but a refresh sorts it. Certainly not the extent you’ve experienced.

I was getting a 502 bad gateway error this morning, but never before.

Well I’ve ran my Dell Support Assistant cleared out cachet etc re-freshed stuff to within an inch of its life turned off the computer and started it again and when I came to open up this website, bingo! Seems to have given itself a good talking to and came on-line quick with no dreaded red Oops! messages. Finger’s crossed it stays that way.

Thanks both of you. I understand now why it’s so hard to open. This needs to be done. I will clean everything if successful and use PTFE tape.
