Stronger Spring?

Hi gang,

I changed to a Pullman basket from the stock IMS one that came with my Lelit Bianca. It works great, I do not want to change it, but the fit in the portafilter is a little loose for my liking. Can anyone recommend a stronger spring to help keep it more firmly in place?

memzey - You can shorten the spring (e.g.: make it more square-like, adding more vertices) so that it produces more friction against the basket. There’s no need to buy another spring.

memzey You can buy 2 mm thick springs, many are 1 or 1.5 mm.

As MRS said adjust the spring, some have small flat areas around the perimeter, hold the flats with two pair of pliers and bend to increase the flat pressure area. It works, I have done this on atired spring.
