drdre89 Some think I hate Nurri and say anything I can to harm them. Not true. In your case I started by asking you a question before I laid down some facts. At the end of the day, as a consumer you pays your money and makes your choice. The Evo/Vostok will continually improve. This is because the owner Paolo and our own @DavecUK continually come up with tweeks and improvements. I bought one of the first batch of Evo Leva’s to be released in June 2021. Look how far the machine has improved in 4 years. If you compare ACS to Nurri (and this factual not critical)…..one company actually has a factory with their name above the door, one company has an r&d department, one company strives to make the product range better continually and one company is significantly cheaper……the downside to the ACS model is whilst the machines have a 2 year warranty for parts you have to fit them yourself…….that said, look at the cost of an inferior machine and you have immediately pocketed the difference.
Londinium at one time were considered by some to be the ultimate lever. Where are they now? The factory making them is UK based but in reality they simply rent production time on an assembly line. Now that the relationship between them and their main UK protagonist who pushed the product at every given opportunity (even though it was always light years behind the Evo) seems to have stopped, then a very old and not well designed product is no longer talked about on forums and I would imagine worldwide sales must be suffering…..but what do I know?
Anyway, back on topic. The Strietman seems a nice machine but I do not know how I would feel about it being my only machine.
