Or use a naked PF. Save on the cafizza and that extra routine :-)
In all seriousness - I did took some of the advice here, went back to spouted. Better workflow for sure, while making coffee. But then, having to remove the basket every time to clean, clean the bottom of it, and have used that in the past to see all the wonderful coffee oils baked in… Not for me. I lasted one day. Oh… And it’s so much easier to tamp with a bottomless PF… I understand why they do that in a cafe. But at home, I can do better. My shots are usually tame and, unless I miss a step (e.g.: WDT, for me) I’ll get the odd sprtizer depending on the coffee I use.
