I remembered that in 2021 (I had Eliz for ½ a year) I measured the water flow with the preinfusion turned off. After 10 seconds, 68 ml flowed, after 30 seconds. 200 ml. So about 6.7 ml/sec. Today I measured it again, 3 times. First measurement: 10 seconds 39 ml, 30 seconds 107 ml, 3.6 ml/sec. During the second measurement, I also measured the water returned to the tank. 10 seconds 25 ml, 30 seconds 91 ml, 3 ml/sec. The outflow from the OPV was 32 ml in 30 seconds.
The third measurement in just 30 seconds: 103 ml into the cup = 3.4 ml/sec. From the OPV 18 ml.
Then I made coffee. 8.5g in a single-serving bowl, 30 seconds without pre-infusion, 14g of coffee in a cup and 80ml of water from the OPV.
So do I need to descale or is there something wrong with the pump? What is the best way to descale the Lelit? Puly Cleaner descaler or something else?
