As a full disclosure, I own the ACS lever. The V, despite what ever may be reason for a long delay, along with many other levers will only provide the prosumers a good range of machines to choose from - cost, preference and so on.
Some users will not like anything that sports a PID on the group, 11+ bar pressure, 54 / 55 mm filter, and so on. Another group would love innovations on the lever. You may see a third group, which remains objectively neutral. We can’t call them all biased, can we?
It’s a shame and a bit unfortunate some members think many of us have a tainted view of L. You can hand count a few who have very strong views about the L. They, IMHO, have used L in the past, have a first-hand experience - good or bad - and back up with facts. Therefore, I am afraid, sweeping most of us under the biased group is not correct!
Like many members, your comments and contributions toward enriching the knowledge base are not only appreciated but also valued.
I am sure the experienced members who have used L would love the objective discussion that you have proposed.
Anyone might consider opening such a thread that can entertain facts-based discussion. A good starting point is setting out a summary of where the bias is; and, such a summary, must be backed with reasons to suggest why it is a bias. Till date, I have not seen anyone engaging in a counter-view of the deemed biases, let alone succeeding in countering them.
The important thing to remember is members here respect each other as a person and agree to disagree the opinions / views!
Happy New Year every one!
