Hello,

I had some issue with leak on the steam boiler on the mc935 sitting when machine showed desired temp on screen and stopped and it was ready. Leak was on the collar, where it sits on the thread adapter and where the thread adapter sits on the boiler (v1 has a thread adapter for the mc935 fitting rather than newer versions that it screws directly on the boiler).

I removed the mc935 part, I cleaned it good and I replaced the o ring. Also tried to screw the thread adapter a bit more.

Now the leak seems to have stopped, haven’t noticed anything last 2 days but I have noticed some air bubbles in the silicon tubes (not sure if they were there before or when they first appeared).

Otherwise the machine seems to work fine. As shown in the video the steam seems powerful and hot water is dispensing fine.

Is that an issue or am I just tripping for no reason?

You’ll get air bubbles and gurgles on the Elizabeth because of that 4way connector linking the expansion valve and the safety valve.

Water from the expansion valve floods the tubes, and the heat from the steam boiler conducted by the safety valve essentially boils the water close to the fitting, generating bubbles.

Nothing to worry about. Just “interesting” design and water warmer than usual entering the tank…

Awesome. I haven’t noticed any other issues like lower pressures or the pump running more, just worried cause I only just noticed these bubbles.

I have been doing some fixes like for the mc935 fittting, I replaced the old anti vacuum valve with the new one, I replaced the safety valve and some of the silicone tubes and the plastic y connector with brass ones (had one plastic y connector break) and was worried that something might have gone wrong.

My machine is the V1 and there is no 4way connector so I don’t know if the safety valve and opv are connected though.
