Get one friend to register for it and then just share the log ons. It seems they have no mechanism to check with this particular VPN

If you can, we possibleyhave a workaround, using a service called Free Image https://freeimage.host/

It looks like you can upload anonymously, or create a free account. Hopefully someone in the flarum developer community will write dome code for it to allow drag and drop like Imgur.

I created an account and yes it’s totally free, the advantage of creating an account is that you can access your stored images and put them in albums etc.. To make it work in the forum just choose the BB embed code option and the image should hot link like mine, or a thumbnail embed (clickable) if you prefer

The Imgur thing has, of course, destroyed our knowledgebase resource for those in the UK, even I can’t access the images to put them into the other hosting site and it would be a huge amount of work, so now if people need to know something they will have to rely on my memory and ability to find things in my extensive archives.

It will also by definition destroyed all the classifieds, current and past…unuseful for any history references.

Depends if its definitely final from their end and as David said seems ok behind a VPN but a big inconvenience.
