ACS Evo leva 2 pump activation every minute

Hey all, my machine recently began having very frequent pump activations trying to maintain the group pressure (i think?) which slowly decreases over the course of a minute of which then kicks the pump back on to maintain that pressure. Im assuming there's a leak somewhere but I dont know where to start looking.

Heres a video of the screen with the pump activating anytime the green drops below 2 which is the pressure I have it set to maintain.

You also need to identify the source of the sound that is heard throughout the video. Is it a steam valve leak, a water valve leak and anti-vacuum leak? Can you see any water, steam or anything leaking either into the drip tray from the drain or from anywhere else?

It may or may not be directly related to the fault you are reporting

Might be time for a descale with some citric acid. You can try to flush through a lot of water through to see if that clears it up first, tho.

Paolo made the suggestion to clean the one way valve. @DavecUK do you know how to dismantle it from the machine for cleaning?

For your problem, it is almost certainly the non-returned valve that is not sealing properly.

As already suggested, you would should not need to remove it from the machine to clean it. Do a descale with citric acid. Then purge using the flush lever for 30 seconds. Maybe three or four times

The non-return valve is tiny and the rubber seal Needs the slightest bit of build up to stop it sealing properly.

Thanks for the tip, Ill try a descale and report back. As for the hissing, thanks for noticing. I took a look and found a leak with another valve on the steam boiler. This seems like it will be difficult to remove though. Any advice?

Yeah looks like a pain. Machine was built April 2024. I am in an email chain with paolo, awaiting his response. The time difference is what gets me 🤣

Its not a big job as such but requires not just the one fitting to be removed as you already know.

haha thanks! your suspicion was correct. I was able to remove the T valve and seal it with teflon. Seems like this alone helped resolve the pump actuation and drop in pressure. Ill keep an eye on it for now.
